FAQs

1. What is the main difference between the basic and the paid versions?

In the basic version, you have access to certain features only. Some features that are not available in the free version include GPS tracking, multimedia collection, event-triggering, etc. Please click here to see the features available in the paid versions. Additionally, while you can send out surveys and collect data using the basic version, you will not be able to schedule surveys.

2. How many projects and surveys can we create in the free/basic version?

We aim to democratize the use of EMA/ESM, so there are no restrictions on the number of projects and surveys you can create in the free/basic version.

3. Is the OFFLINE feature available in the free version?

The OFFLINE feature is only available in the paid versions.

4. Are we allowed to schedule surveys?

You can schedule surveys only with the paid versions.

Calendar scheduling allows you to schedule a survey following a calendar date.
Rolling scheduling enables you to keep enrolling participants with flexible scheduling. Surveys will start when participants enter the access code, or they can choose when to begin. For example, Participant 1 may start on Monday, and Participant 2 may start on Tuesday. However, if you have a 7-day scheduled survey, they will both receive the 7-day survey and complete it according to the day on which they started.
